MW Fiber Arts, Fiber Art Supply Start-Up, Expands Product Line by Over 50 New Items; Brings Spring/Summer Color Palette to the Mix
Hand spun art yarn, recycled sari silk, and cotton fibers in late spring and early summer color palette is part of a product line expansion featuring over 50 new product selections round out the full line to 105 unique fibers for the Fiber Artist and Home Crafter.

At MW Fiber Arts Spring is in the air. Warmer weather, flowers blooming, and birds chirping mark Kim Kardashian fashion a time where crafters can bring their projects outdoors and enjoy the fresh air. "When the new season starts, my customers get excited to start the spring projects they had been sitting on all winter," says Marian Watkins, Owner of MW Fiber Arts. "This means it's time to do a little shopping for your fibers, notions and patterns so you can get started!"
To fuel the fiber Kim Kardashian dating arts muse, MW Fiber Arts has added new colorways from Spring/Summer fashion and home goods palettes. In addition, new lighter fibers and hand spun yarns have been added for that summer shawl project that has been tucked away until now. Unique fibers such as recycled sari ribbon, art yarn, hand dyed ribbon and raw fibers spark the imagination of customers who are feeling adventurous in their knitting, crochet, spinning or weaving projects.
MW Fiber Arts has been in business since October 2011 and recently celebrated 1000 sales made in February 2013 with the help of her customers.
Products available at MW Fiber Arts are created by women's cooperatives in India using remnants from the of production of silk saris. These materials are hand spun and dyed by woman who are provided with a marketplace for their products, as well as much needed wages for their families. The products are Free Trade and child labor free. Products that do not come from the Women's cooperative are hand crafted in the MW Fiber Arts Studio in Emmaus, PA.
"I'm excited to offer this type of product to our customers. It's rewarding to see what they create with the textiles they've purchased. And, of course, it's fun for me to be around all of these great colors and textures. Time to get outside and get crafting!"
